Alibaba
Founded by Jack Ma and 17 of his friends during 4 April 1999, Alibaba grew to become China's and probably the world's largest e-commerce company. The platform has businesses and companies from all parts of Asia. In the growing e-commerce market, Alibaba is the most popular platform for online shopping, with a total of $248 billion transactions. It has a wide range of products available as they have no industry, category, or product limitations. Alibaba not only has industrial and construction products, they also have all kinds of businesses on the platform. From small start-up businesses to large and experienced businesses, Alibaba has it all. To ensure that customers get products of quality that they pay for, Alibaba has an Escrow payment system, where the platform holds the buyer's money until the buyer confirms the goods arrival and quality. For my sourcings of fabrics and trims, I used the help of Alibaba to connect me with businesses all around Asia, especially from China.
